About

We started with a question nobody was answering: will this hold up where it was signed?

Every e-signature platform can collect a signature almost anywhere. None of them could tell you whether the document you just signed survives the law of the place you signed it. Docsliy was built to close that gap.

Why we exist

Signature law and contract law are different things.

A perfectly executed agreement can still fail — because a clause doesn't survive local law, because a duty went unpaid, or because the instrument was never capable of electronic execution in the first place. Signing platforms solve the first problem and leave the rest standing.

We took the opposite approach. The law of the signing jurisdiction is an input to the draft, not a checkbox after it. That one decision shapes everything else about how the product is built.

See how that works
  1. 01

    Resolve the jurisdiction

Which law governs, which formalities attach, and whether the instrument can be signed electronically at all.

  2. 02

    Assemble the draft

Clauses pulled from libraries reviewed by counsel qualified in that jurisdiction — each one citing its source.

  3. 03

    Apply the formalities

Stamp duty, registration and language requirements settled before signature, because afterwards is too late.

  4. 04

    Execute at the right tier

SES, AES or QES, matched to what that market requires, with identity verified through Docsliy Verify.

What we hold to

Three principles we don't trade away

They're architectural choices, not marketing lines — each one costs us something, which is why they're worth stating.

01

Show the working

Contracts are assembled from counsel-reviewed clause libraries, and every clause cites the entry it came from. A draft can be audited back to its source rather than taken on trust.

The cost: slower to add a market than generating language on demand.
02

Refusing is a feature

Where local law excludes an instrument from electronic execution, we decline and name the rule. Silently producing a document that fails later is the real failure.

The cost: we say no to work a less careful tool would happily take.
03

Your document stays with you

Where a licensed provider must apply the signature, we send only a cryptographic hash — never the contract, its contents or its metadata.

The cost: a harder integration than simply uploading the file.

Bring a contract you actually send

Not a demo template. We'll draft it, apply the formalities and sign it live, in your jurisdiction, in about twenty minutes.
